Question about 1994 Buick LeSabre
I just this car 2 days ago..Drove it home approx. 75 miles. Then took the kids to school ..another 30 miles...get bak into the car and the Service engine soon light comes on.Call and ask if it had done this before and got a "no" answer...Now the car ran fine for about the first 15 miles after the light came on then just quit running...no warning...the only reason I knew it had stalled was the power stearing did't work...I was going about 40 mph at the time...I put thre car in neutral and re-statred it right away and it ran good...The light did not go out....Then later in the day it was doing the same thing and stalled out 3 times in less than a mile...Not sure what it is but I would assume I have to get it checked out soon....
U have a problem in the ignition system, most likely the ignition module or the crank sensor are failing, it will strand you soon and not restart, have it checked ASAP.

I had this same problem, with my 94, I bought it used, with only 38.000, it now has 68.000, I was having the light issue, and nothing was happening, But then I was driving home from work at 2:30 am, and the Car just stopped running, no warning, I coasted to a stop, let the car set for about 3 min, then I restarted the car. drove home. The next day I checked the Fuel pressure,, with fuel pressure Gage.It bogged, after i checked it 3 time, every time it would bogg, "meaning" the gage would twitch,,,"Not stay steady" So I figured it was the Flue pump, or filter. I changed the Fuel pump, Strainer basket, and replaced the fuel filter, and have had NO other problems with the car sense. Fuel pump & strainer Basket are in the Tank, about $150.00. Fual filter $21.00. Is FWD diver side, along the frame rail, before fire wall, below floor board of Driver seat.If you do it your self be sure to depressureize the Flue rail system,on fwd side of intake manifold,, for both application. It took me 3 hrs,,,Good luck.
