Question about 2006 Hyundai Sonata
I want to install the cabin air filter for my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Can you help, please?
If it's anything like my 2005 Tucson all you have to do is open glove box and find the elastic cord that comes from behind glovebox and runs through a hole in the side. Release this cord (just let it go, it won't go anywhere). Drop the glovebox down and you'll see where to replace the filter. There are 2 black clips a little ways in on either side, you have to pinch these and pull on them at the same time. The filter will pull out, replace it, slide back in, then rehook the elastic cord and close glovebox. Done!!!

The instructions are in the owners manual that came with the car. The procedure is very simple.
