Question about 1993 Honda Accord
I recently acquired a 1993 Honda Accord 10th anniversary edition. One of the reasons the previous owner got rid of it was due to break ins. The last break in left the drivers side with no exterior lock. Now, for me, it's no issue as it has a good alarm on it, but for inspection there needs to be something there. What can I do to fix it? How much will it cost? I don't think it needs to function, but something has to be there.
Contrary to what the previous poster said, you do not need to involve the dealer on this. Go to a junk yard and get a lock assembl, then take the car and the lock to a locksmith and he can rekey it to match the car's key and install it for you. might cost $100 total...
hope this helps...;-)
