The dual horn is located under the front right quarter panel in front of the tire. If you look at the front right tire the plastic shield is in the way to protect the horn and the intake from water and debris damage. its simple to remove just unscrew the plastic sheild with a screwdriver and itll be up near the front of the car

Can not get horn to blow on a 2001 malibu

2001 malibu horn fuse and relay are located in the under the hood fuse box.
location 21 should be the relay
location 43 should be the fuse.
if the relay is put in wrong the horn will not work. if you replaced the relay and the horn stopped working try pulling the relay out and turning it around. and try the horn again.

2001 VW Jetta air bag on and honk won't work.

It's your clockspring. It's inside your steering wheel, underneath the airbag. Controls the electrical connection to your airbag and horn.

Hope this helps!

Horn Problem

All VW's have electrical problems sounds like a relay switch isn't working properly or you have a serious eletrical problem. And if's a 1.8 turbo boy are you in for a headach. That cars a nightmare I know cause I've worked on these cars and VW won't recall any of them. Best thing to do is try to fix it and dump it.
