No there isn't any adjustment,and if you have good pedal pressure there isn't any point in trying to bleed the hydraulic system.

Need clarification, are we talking the actual fluid for the transmission, or the clutch slave cylinder fluid for depressing to engage the clutch on the transmission?

I have a 93 Toyota pick up 4x4 standard transmission. Sometimes when I go to reverse, there is a grinding noise, which won't let me shift into reverse. I then need to turn off the vehicle, then engage....

Could be the clutch.
Reverse and first do not have gears that line up like the others do. So if the clutch is not disengaging all the way, they will grind.

You need to adjust the clutch cable. It runs from the fire wall to the shift lever on the back of the transmission.

How long will it take in man hours to change the clutch on a 2004 1800cc 2x4 Toyota Rava4, or can this model just be adjusted to stop it slipping. Thanks;

A person with the right tools and a lift and knowledge of what is doing 4 hours.

A person with basic tools ( no air tools) no lift, no knowledge 1 week.

There is no adjustment, the only possibility is that there is a leak in the hydraulic system.

1987 Nissan PU, I replaced the master and slave clutch cyls. I bleed the system and there is no air in the lines but peddle does not get hard. Could the new master or slave cyl be bad? I see you can adjust...

The shaft should come all the way back, when the pedal is back, the master shaft should be adjusted so there is very little play in the pedal. But it needs some play. Make sure you can see the slave cylinder move when you depress the clutch pedal, you will need help to operate the pedal, while you look.

Clutch problem

The rod at the end of the slave cylinder can be adjusted. make sure clutch pedal has no more than an inch and a half of free play. If free play is within the 1.5" & still have problem with clutch disengaging, chances are clutch is worn

Clutch adjustment

This is a hydraulic clutch, it is self adjusting, it sounds like you need to replace the clutch because it has adjusted out as far as it can. I think you are saying it slips when you try to accelerate, that most definitely means the clutch is worn out.
