If you experience a sudden failure in any drive line component the because you have you foot hard on the accelerator the loss of resistance on the crankshaft will allow the engine to rev up un controlled until an over rev sensor cuts of the electronics. Find the reason for the sudden rpm increase from fault codes and replace faulty items.

When it rains my car cuts in and out "BUT" when its not raining i can rive threw puddles without it cuting in and out.

When it is raining the water is coming in through the radiator and is causing electrical shorts in the ignition system. Use a water repellent spray (silicon spray) on everything related to the ignition (HT leads plug lead rubbers ) coils and distributor cap if applicable. When you drive through puddles the water is deflected into the mudguards and is not likely to reach the engine compartment.

I have a 2003 honda civic with a over heating problem maybe?. There are no leaks at all, replaced thermostat, pressure test, took it to honda, took it to little repair stations. No one can figure out the...

It could be a circulation problem as you insist, but you know the head gasket can also cause the same problem yes because the head gasket also has water holes on it .so when there is a bent or a cut on the gasket it can cause overheating.thank you

Slow to get up to speed, Rpm's not rive up when cold.

Have the throttle cables adjusted and/or the carborator adjusted also and that should help you out!!!

Slow to get up to speed, or rpm's up.

You probably have a broken retainer pin on the VVT (Variable Valve TIming) controller, which is located inside the cam area on the cylinder head. Not something that I would fool with if you have no experience removing the cams. Best left to a professional. Unfortunatly, quite a common problem, I have done 6 this year.
