Question about 1991 Ford F250
I have a 1991 F250 4x4 7.3L pickup which is having trouble up-shifting. I have to rev it up to 3k rpms to get it to shift. I was told to try the throttle position sensor. I tried adjusting the old sensor with no improvement. I put a new one on and tried to adjust that and still no improvement. I am thinking that the problem maybe in the trans valve body.
You should check your trans fluid first and make sure it is not low. Check it with the vehicle warmed up, running in park
