Question about 2001 Kia Sportage
Oil is leaking from the gasket on the metal piece that the oil filter connects (screws or something) onto. Not from around the oil filter itself but the metal piece that connects to the engine. I don't have an owners manual and I don't know what the part is called.
Make sure that the oil filter is tight. Usually they only leak if dirt was in the gasket when the filter was installed or the filter wasn't tightened enough.
