Question about 2005 Chevrolet Colorado
It's an '05 Colorado Z-71 2wd 4 cyl (2.8L) with manual trans. When I'm in neutral or trying to shift it drops rpms and starts shaking voilently. I originally thought I got some poor gas with maybe some water. So I changed a fuel filter, used some sea-foam and it didn't work. I took it to an auto parts store and used their diagnostic machine and it gave me 3 codes. #1 P0017: crank/cam correlation #2 P0014: exhaust cam post time adv #3 P0101: mass air circuit. I tried cleaning out the mass air sensor between the air filter and intake and I think it may even be worse now. Can anyone help?!?!

SOURCE: 06 Colorado wont start at times
there is a faulty switch in the steering wheel column. My truck did the same thing. Next time check to see if the security light flashes next time it doesn't start. the time delay is more like 10 min.

SOURCE: Im getting a P0017, P0014,
po300 is a general missfire code if i rember right. there is more than likely an install procedure that will require you to clear all cods ( even if there is no code preasent ) before you install the new part or failure of those parts can happen
