Have you check the wheels. to see if there balanced right. if you jack it up and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and shack it does it move. that will be bad ball joints..check your tie rods.

Vibration at speeds of 50mph-70mph feels like the front end is hopping. i have new tires with new shocks and alignment but still shakes. any other suggestions?

I have a 2012 tundra and the steering wheel shimmys at 55-65mph. the truck has 15000 and never has been 4 wheeling or off roading, only used on icy roads. There are others on tundra forum reporting the same. Who else is struggling with this issue, and what is the fix..

Likely whatever causes the noise also caused the problem with your tires. Have a competent shop or tech check your ball joints and c/v axle joints. It could be a bad hub bearing as well but usually they make more noise at lower speeds.
After you determine what is actually wrong and fix it, it is a good idea to have it aligned. Unless the alignment caster is severely "off" it should not cause any shaking. Caster is pretty munch non-adjustable on your car and will never cause a noise though. Ball joints if worn can cause the tires to "splay" out at the bottom causing uneven tire wear.
I'm leaning towards ball joints but without the advantage of being there to examine it, no one can say for sure.

you either have bad brake pads or the bolts are loose that hold the front steering suspension on.

Could be low on oil, trans doesnt have fluid, wheel bearings are gone, or could be something stuck under the vehicle and either the tires or the drive axle is rubbing against it.

You may have to get your wheels re ballanced if you lost one of the weight's on the rim. The other thing to is a bent rim if you hit a large pot hole or crub and last to see if the tire it self has funny wear patterns on the treads.
Other things to look for if your wheels are ok. Check the ball joints Check the tie rod ends Check and pay attention to the Idler and Pitman arm. Your looking for any excessive movments
A good way is to grease all that is mentioned above and see if the vibration is gone.
Lost thing would be the brake rotors but you'ld now that by having vibrations throught out any speed when you apply the brakes to slow down.
Good luck and hope this helps, you should be able to do this on your own other then checking the wheel ballance.

it sounds like your tire is out of balance just take it to your local tire shop and have them rotate and rebalance the tires

I agree with chryslerpro. It usually is a tire problem. If it turns out otherwise, another item to check is a bent or out of balance driveshaft. They tend to bend after an impact or repetative towing of something heavy.

Santa Fe 2003 steering wheel vibrates at 65MPH

it depends how bad its vibrating yes it does req rebalancing the longer you leave this more components will wear to like track rod ends, uneven tyre wear caused by tracking issues if money is tight at the moment you could try swapping front wheels with rear if you have two trolley jacks & tyres have decent tread hope that sheds some light onto situation.
