Try replacing the thermostat, it may be stuck closed.

If the thermostat is good check the coolant fluid level in the reservoir, there may be an air pocket in the cooling system if your not getting any heat inside the vehicle, or the coolant fluid is either not flowing caused from blockage, or there is not enough coolant fluid flowing through the coolant system, could also be a bad water pump.

Over heating the electric fan is not coming on . removed thermostst but still heats up. Does the fan got a fuse or control manual. Was running well in a traffic ram i noticed the temp climbing the hazard...

There is a termo switch witch turns on and off the fans, it could be faulty. First check the fuse, than directly connect fan to the battery, if fans start to spin, check the fuse and if the fuse is ok than it's probably termo switch or maybe it's damaged wire in between fuse box and the fan....

My fan keeps running after engine 01 jaguar S type 6 cylinder am i overheating

It is normal for your fan to continue to run for approximately 10mins AFTER shut off your engine. If it run's for longer than that or it drain's your battery, then you have a problem.

No heat in 2002 jaguar stype. replaced theromstat earlier in the summer. also cooling fan continues to run 3-5 minutes after car is turned off.

the cooling fan running for a short time after turning off is normal.as far as the NO HEAT is concerned have the topmost hot hose clip undone and vent any airlock you may have.(pref a hose that is attached to the heater inside the engine bay).

likely to be paddle flap motor died, they used to be manual, so the vent is letting in cool air only, the flap changes position for the heat to enter, the flap on yours is not moving, so likely to be the motor
