You could try cranking it over for about 2 min with the accelerator pressed to the floor. It takes a little while for mine to fire up if I run out of gas.

You have goten air in the fuel system. you need a friend to help out with this. but if you open the hood and look on the intake the fuel rail. you should see some thing that looks just like a tire stem cap remove this cap and make sure you have safty glasses turn the key to one and then push the little plunger down under that cap. you will have to do this until a nice stream of fuel comes out with out the air. now be carefull and remember this is a pressurized fuel line so were safty glasses

I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and it won't start. i have determined that its not getting fuel. I replaced the blown fuel pump fuse, but I'm still not getting fuel. There is a fuel pump relay also,...

The no fuel problem is usually caused by a defective or bad fuel pump. The blown fuel pump fuse is actually pointing to the pump or circuit being bad.

Need to drop the tank, so let someone who has done it before do it, it's worth it.

Gasoline is kind of dangerous to deal with since it is extremely flammable and volatile.

Ran out of gas now it wont start with plenty of gas in it(2003 PONTIAC GRAND AM

You may have a plugged up fuel filter, which happened when fuel level dropped very low, and pump pulled in crud from the bottom of the tank.
Replace the fuel filter and see it that fixes it. Let me know either way, I'll help if needed.
