The most likely cause is poor grounding due to corrosion. but first check with a test light to see it power is getting to the lights... if so examine the sockets and look for green spots. if found clean them till they are shiny... also look to see how the sockets are grounded to the vehicle... if it's a wire running to a screw on the body try loosening the screw(s) and cleaning that area as well... sometimes the sockets are grounded by direct contact with the enclosure... in that case do the same drill... make the surfaces nice and clean.. and of course you verified that the BULBS are good right?... Hope this helps...;-)

Half the dash lights are out on my mazda b2500

There are several small screws to remove. It doesn't take long once you've done it and know where they are located. First you must remove the center console--there are two screws (i think 7mm or 8mm) underneath the middle part kind of hidden from view on the center console. Then remove the lower plastic panel under the steering wheel. Then a metal panel must be at least loosened enough to reach the lower screws on the dash panel you're trying to get at. Then there are three more screws along the top ledge that must be removed. Then you can get to the bulbs. I think there are 5 in there, and two in the center console. It sounds difficult and time consuming, but it only took me like 15 minutes start to finish

98 mazda b2500-my turning signal/hazard lights no longer work

You need to replace the flasher module, this is the module that controls the "Blinking" function of the lights, its a mostly a common part that you can get at any auto parts store for less than 10 bucks and is located in the Fuse panel under the dash, its round in shape in one corner of the panel. mostly they are green in color.

Mazda B 4000 won't start

I don't know if you've had an answer yet or may have taken it for service but... My 98 B2500 broke a timing belt and would crank fine but no noticeable ignition, look under the back of the timing belt cover (Mine is black and on the front top part of the engine block) while someone cranks it and you may find that the cam is not turning at all.

Dashboard Lights will not go on Mazda Pickup B2500 1999

As long as all fuses are good, you need to check the light switch its self. Remove the light switch assembly from the dash. With a 12 volt circuit tester, check the wiring coming out of the switch. The dash lights will be powered along with the side marker lights.

Probe each wire that joins the switch, turning the switch on and off. If you don't have any loss of power here, it can be at the printed circuit board at the dash.
