Question about 1998 Mazda B-Series
I have a problem with my back lights for my 1998 mazda B2500 pickup. The front lights work fine but the back lights just would not work iwould like some one to help me fix this problem or tell me where the problem could be coming from cause i have checked the fuses and all of them are good.
The most likely cause is poor grounding due to corrosion. but first check with a test light to see it power is getting to the lights... if so examine the sockets and look for green spots. if found clean them till they are shiny... also look to see how the sockets are grounded to the vehicle... if it's a wire running to a screw on the body try loosening the screw(s) and cleaning that area as well... sometimes the sockets are grounded by direct contact with the enclosure... in that case do the same drill... make the surfaces nice and clean.. and of course you verified that the BULBS are good right?... Hope this helps...;-)
