High beams dont work...Checked fuses

I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx..The high beams dont work I have checked the fuses.

You may need to replace the blinker module in the steering column , i cant see it being the bulbs themselves you can check them over as well

Go to the fuse box and check the low beam fuse and the high low relay

Low beams work high beams dont


The bulbs have 2 filaments, one for low beam and one for high beam. It's possible both high beam filaments are blown and you just need to replace the bulbs. You can check by measuring the voltage at the high beam terminal. You should see at least 12 volts when you turn on the high beams. If you do, it's the bulbs. If you don't it's likely the switch or the relay (assuming you've verified the fuses are good)

this circuit is fused also the headlight switch controls both functions for low as well as running lights

hi check your bulbs first but the problem is a bad ground or a faulty connecter look at the drivers side first clean all the grounds and connectors yates210456
