Question about 1996 Pontiac Firebird
Just bought this car dirt cheap to fix up and the check engine light is on, auto parts store checked the code and it said maf or vaf a low circuit input. I looked under the hood and the relay for the air pump is missing. could this be the problem?
That is one of you problems, but I will need the codes to help further.
The burning question is why is the relay missing. Apparently there was a previous problem with the system and it was removed to disable the component.
So, get a relay and reply back with the code numbers and we can get started.
