F350 will not stay running, seems no gas getting to engine; was running fine until I put gas into it an shortly afterwards it started but would not idle over about 200rpm, no power, and died

Check your battery connections and have a local auto parts dealer check your altinater. Possible also is the serpinetine belt is bad and slipping. All three things are questionable. I think this because of the power window issue, they take alot of amps to raise. Weak charging system sounds like the issue.

6cyl,1994 toyota camry shuts off when shifted, but when car stays on it doesn't go with full power and over heats an shuts off. takes a couple of startups to get to stay one when its cold it shift

your catalytic converter may be clogged, if it is bolted on loosen the bolts and pry it away then try to start. if the power returns then you need to replace the catalytic converter. also is it an automatic or standard transmission? If automatic the torque converter is stalling at to low of rpm and needs to be replaced.

Very little to no power at times

if your rpm's go up and car doesn't seem to be pulling itself it is more likley the transmission. if catalytic converter is bad rpms will not go up.

Looking for trouble shooting help with 2002 fuel pump under turbo chevy 3500 4x4 crew cab pickup. Relay doesn't seem to be getting signal to it from (?).i put voltmeter on coil side of relay and turn...

Did you do it like this? Voltmeter: black lead on negative battery terminal, positive lead on one of terminals on coil side- turn key to on, and see if there is voltage for about 2 seconds. If yes, check negative terminal of relay's coil side. If no voltage, move positive lead to other terminal for coil side. Turn key to on, and see if you have voltage for about 2 seconds. If yes, test negative side of relay's coil for good ground. If no signal at either terminal, the signal may be lost from the pcm.

When you turn the key to on, this will prime the fuel system-pump will turn on for only 2 seconds with key in on, and then if no crank signal, pump will turn off (the relay will not stay energized, so no power will go to pump). But when the engine is cranking over, the relay is energized, the coil side will stay powered as long as engine is cranking. After the engine is running, usually an oil pressure switch is tied into the fuel pump circuit, so the relay is no longer needed to put power to the pump. The pump will always be running when engine is cranking, and when engine is running, but the relay no longer is needed when engine is running. See?

Modern fuel injected vehicles will only run the pump for a couple of seconds to pressurize the fuel system at stat-up. The pump won't run after that until the engine is running or you are actively engaging the starter. The fuel pump and relay are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Now, that doesn't mean the pump is building pressure like it should but the pump running for a second then shutting off after you first turn on the key is normal operation. You may have entered it, but I can see no information about what vehicle you are working on other than it is a truck. More information about the vehicle would help. In the mean time, I feel a compression check is an order and you should take a look at the oil to make sure there isn't any water mixed in. Some history would help as well, like if you have done any type of service in the last month, when the basic maintainence was done, how many miles are on it, etc.

I have a c270 deisel which has lost power

Check the fuel filter when they get plugged, engines run sluggish.
Check air cleaner
If this is a low milage rig and has been taken care of it might be the fuel pump, but if its got alot of miles on it, it might just be tired and worn out.
Hope this helpsl.
