On Peugeot 407 fault code p1471 and p2562 comes on what it could be.

some fault codes can only be erased by the use of a scanner as the fix is not recorded temporarily. Fix the problems and then use a scanner..

Skid plates

The problem is probably with the sliding lock washers that the bolts thread into. They have a habit of moving where each contacts the frame.

If you happen to try to change the bolts, some may have been changed before on a used car. The threads can be different on the replacements and can get mixed when you remove them all.

There are fine and coarse threads and standard and Metric sizes. Each bolt and clip nut must match.

Its possible that the plate may be upside down as there are usually the same bolt patterns on either end or side. But there may be creases in the plate which require you to mount the plate in a certain position.

New clip nuts will stay in place. You may find that using a jack beneath 1 end of the plate will help suspend the plate while you work around the perimeter to shift the clip nuts into alignment. You can loosely suspend the plate by the bolts, remove the jack and then draw the plate into position by uniformly tightening the bolts.

Hi, peugeot 206 clutch/engine problem..

It seems like the clutch pressure plate has given in. Best would be to replace the clutch pro-kit.( Clutch pressure plate, clutch plate and release bearing)

I cant find the jack in my peugeot anyone know where it is

ok could be in a few places,,first if the spare tyre is located under the back of the car beside the axle then its probably in the centre of the spare ,,remove spare to find it,,if not there then either in the boot to the left or the right side panels in a slot...some older cars used to actually put the jack under the hood but i doubt its there.....let me no how u get on ..hope it helps
