No for some reason the machine wouldn't read the code when the ABS light was on while running, with the engine off and the ignition on the code was readable but I cannot remember what it was. The technician cleared the error code but the light came back on as soon as I started the car again. How would I check the pressure regulator? there is no valve that I can find on the fuel rail to connect a pressure gauge to.

No start no fuel or spark

What about your ignition module? I can't tell if you just replaced coils or ignition module included? Also, before buying anything, check voltage and ground for ignition module. Pink wire is voltage, black wire is ground.

The crank sensor sends ac signal to ignition module, the module converts signal to dc, something the computer can handle, then sends rpm signal to computer.

Turns over but won t start

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH FUEL ? DOES THE FUEL PUMP WORK SENDING FUEL? HAS THE IGNITION SYSTEM SENDING SPARK TO THE SPARK PLUGS ?
CHECK WHETHER IS THE CRANK OR CAM SHAFT SENSOR.

AFTER RUNNING IT WONT START UNTIL AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR

Typical of failing electrical motors or components. It does crank, just won't start? Likely gas or ignition related. Does the fuel pump still turn on when it won't start? Every time you cycle the key from off to on, the pump should come on for a couple of seconds, then turn off until engine is cranked or running. Bad pumps can stop when heated up. Check if you have gas up to the engine-have the fuel pressure checked. Correct fuel pressure is critical for easy starts.
Also check for spark when it wont start. If no spark, suspect the ignition control module or the crank position sensor.
Post back with what you find. The ignition module can be taken off and tested for free at a parts store. Some testing of the crank sensor circuit can be done on the vehicle, but requires a multi meter.

2002 saturn sl won't start, turn over but won't start

If the engine fires up for a second or two with starting fluid then the fuel pump is weak.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs then replace the pump and filter.

Replaced ignition module now it won't run at all

After changing the ignition module, you may have broken the communication between all the components in the anti theft security system. This is common on GM antitheft systems. I am not getting any spark. Replaced the Crank Position Sensor and the ignition module. What else could be causing it? It is a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with the 2.2 OHV motor.

I would say it may be the cam sensor. Test the wires to the sensor while cranking and see if it is getting power. You can always try unpluging it and cranking. It may start for you. It could also be your ecm. The computer controls all of your ignitions.

02 caviler.. cranks but will not start.. have replaced crank sensor, fuel relay sensor.ignition module as well as spark plug module... and replaced battery

Squirt starting fluid in intake and try to start if it starts and then dies you have a fuel delivery problem. Make sure you check the fuses for a blown fuse namely fuel pump or fuelpump relay. If it doesnt start after squirting starting fluid in the intake check for spark at the plug wires and coil.
