Question about 2000 Cadillac Catera
Oil light comes on but goes out after a few seconds. oil pressure is lower than normal. Once I had an oil filter collapse after an oil change. could it be that or an oil sending unit or sensor? Thanks
Check to see if the oil sending unit is leaking. Just take a flashlight and look down behind the radiator at the bottom of the engine, if you see that the lower part of the engine is very oily the most likely the oil sending unit is the problem. Oil sending unit is in same place. If you have a light it cheap fix if you have a gauge good luck.
