Question about 2002 Kia Spectra
My 2003 kia sedona will not start from cold unless i use easy start it is a 2.9 crdi once started it will run fine all day this model appears to have no glow plugs but does have a heater element the glow light goes out in less than 1 second and although the element does get warm the vehicle fais to fire up
Check the two glow plug relays in the small fuse box behind the big one.(i know it has no glowplugs but the relays controll the heater) they should be 12 v. or connect a jump lead from the positive terminal on the batt to the foremost connection on the heater. leave for 10-15 secs then start. if it starts the relays are shot. 20£ each from a kia dealer
