I have a 1991 chrysler new yorker, and the instument cluster just went out. all the turn lights work and check engine dummy light work, just no speed and gas gauge. checked all light bulbs, and fuses with...

okay if the light work then it wont be a fuse, this sounds like a bad connection or bad cluster. remove the cluster and unplug the connectors to it and then reconnect them and start the car and see if they work if not then i would say the cluster went bad, good day.

I have no brake lights in my 1989 chrysler new yorker but have every other lights whats the problem?

Check the stop light switch down by the brake pedal. there's 2 wires going to the switch. when the pedal is pressed the little button on the switch comes out and causes the brake lights to come on. Try unplugging it and putting a jumper wire in the plug to complete the circuit. Second guess: if the car is rusted, check the wires in the trunk above the wheels.

check the vacuum lines. plastic lines break. one line goes into the fire wall. then there are several lines coming from the control panel. sometimes the plug comes loose

Brake fuse keeps going bad

If the brake light fuse keeps blowing, the sockets in the tail lights maybe bad,or a bulb is bad,or in backwards.

The electronic speedometer, fuel guage and odometer are not lighting up and all the fuses are good. They were all working until the battery went dead and the car had to be boosted. What could this be?

after a car is being jumped it could affect many sensitives electrical components. this battery jump might have blown out the l.e.d lights on the dashboard

Just saw this post. Maybe you've already found the answer by now. I have an 87 new yorker. i have the manual that came with the car. The fuse box should be under the stearing column to the left. Cover pops off. The turn signal lamps take a 20 amp fuse. it goes in cavity #10
