Power Windows go up or down Crooked

1990 Bronco ii power windows/ the motor is fine, but windows go up all crazy angles and sometimes need to be shifted back into place by hand then continue to roll up or down. Looked at it and seems there is just a rubber guide at the aft end of the window, nothing else.??

well it turns out that ford has nylon bushings in the center vertical track that snap into little ball shaped ends on the regulator..these were worn out big time. went to a "you pull it" salvage yard, got a coupla bushings out of a ranger and voila! works fine now....just had to really lube up the track that the bushings ride in. works like new.

Yes there is a broken clip on one end or the window .. you will have to take it appart and see which one is broken and order it from a dealer .. some auto parts carry these little deals they are plastic and they screw into both sides of the glass with a arm on one side for the chanel operation.. thanks Jerry and holler if you need more.

Acceleration and/or fuel problem ???

As crazy as it sounds take a bike tire pump and blow from the intake back toward the tank. We had an issue like that, air back flow solved it. Sounds crazy I know. Maybe install a clear inline fuel filter and look for debris or air in the line. Also maybe a split in brittle plastic fuel line back around tank. Hope this may help.

1990 ford bronco with fuel injected 302 idles and revs fine out of gear but has loss of power and pings when in gear and accelerating...

First thing to try would be different fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer and fill with good gas. see if that helps. Also, check the fuel pressure.

Parts question

I don't know if your talking about a big bronco or a bronco ll. I'm really not sure about the difference in sheetmetal, you may have to take off the old door & match it up with the replacement door. As for the windows and locks, as long as both doors had power locks & windows, make sure the replacement door still has the window glass in the door assembly. You may want to take the time & test the motor on the new door, finally make sure your wires will connect with replacement door.

I have a 1990 bronco, and the driver side power window won't go back up. I believe the motor is shot, and I probably need to fix it, so how would I go about doing that? does anyone have instructions on...

first try to replace the switch,
if not, you have to take out the door panel, and then you'll be able to get to the elevator, the motor comes out easy, it's fixed just with some screws

89 ford bronco driver and passenger power windows roll down but wont roll up with out help they just sit thier and make a jerking motion up and down in the same spot

likely is an issue with the motor itself, or could possibly be due to dirt/rust in the way on the track. best to take the forward window panel out and check if it is blocking the way otherwise replace the power window motor.

My 1990 ford bronco rear window will not go up all the way. it goes down fine but when it starts to roll up it stops halfway up.

Your window fuse, relay or motor may be dying and no longer powerful enough to close your window all the way up. So as not to be repetitive, for the failure of your power driver side window and rear window, review this handy diagnostic article, which identifies the possible causes, from a bad fuse, relay to window motor, etc.:

This should help narrow down your particular cause.
