Question about 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante
You may have a broken engine mount. As the engine revs and torques it can pull the throttle cable in such a way as to continue reving. Check for smooth operation of the throttle and cable with the engine off. I f you have smooth operation, check your motor mounts.
