Question about 1998 Ford Escort
1998 ford escort ls 2.0 109032 miles. as of last week car stated stalling at lights and stop signs. it drives fine the rest of the time. i can't help but think this is either fuel problem related or a sensor of some kind any help in the right direction is appreciated
It could also be the idle control valve not working properly, it could be carboned up, remove and clean with a cloth then replace and try car

There is a plastic tube that goes between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. Inspect the rubber elbow ends of this tube very carefully, they deteriorate and cause a vacuum leak that causes stalling. Sometimes you can hear them hissing while the engine is running. This is a very common problem.
