Question about 2000 Ford Taurus
1998 ford escort ls 2.0 runs fine at all other times. i can't help but think this is the beginging of problems that are about to come. car has 109032 miles serviced at regular intervals and never had problems, with the exception of canging batteries and tires when needed any help would steer ne in the right direction. fuel system problems have haunted me in the past with other vehicles
Besides cleaning the sensor, you may want to look at the vacumn lines on the vehicle. They have a tendency to crack along the side of the line causing small vacumn leaks. This can have a big effect on the idling of the vehicle. You may also adjust the throttle body for the idle flow to the engine. Good Luck, RAC
