If its an area thats easily acessible you can use compression fittings to patch in a new piece, you'll need to know the the oustdide diameter of the brakeline to get the correct size fittings and than bleed the system after the repair. In this situation I would highly reccomend taking it to a shop and have a professional repair this.If you're comfortable doing this post back and I'll give you detailed instructions on how to do it.

Changed the rack in a 99 taurus but its fine then when you turn the car off fluid blows out the top of powr steeering pump

HI there it's must likely that you have too much fluid in and or there is air in the system.
to fix problem drain power steering sys by disconnecting one of the hoses at the pump
and saving the fluid to reuse.
ones system is drained reconnect hose and fill 1/4 of the tank .
start engine and turn steering wheel all the way too the left&right three times each.by doing these
you are removing air from the system
now with engine running and steering wheel at center check fluid level and fill to the mark
on the stick .

good luck

Front wheels won't engage when in 4 wheel

Then the problem would be in the differential. something came loose or broke off the actuator on the inside

How to replace wheel studs on a 1997 ford taurus

Front or rear? The front will have a disc and the rear should be a drum. Either way the stud gets pressed out of the back and with the proper equipment it is a very easy procedure. If you do not have the proper tools simply take the drum or disc to a brake shop for the inexpensive repair to be done properly.

I have a 96 ford Taurus, changed the caliber, wheel bearing and rooter. When I tighten the wheel down, I can no longer turn it buy hand and I can feel the drag when driving the car. Please help!

How much are u tightening the wheel nut? Tighten til wheel won't rotate, back off one half turn. U need some freeplay or it won't spin. Let me know if this fixes it. If not, we can continue to fix it.
