Question about 2005 Ford F 250 Super Duty
Hi I have a 2005 Ford F-350 Superduty that came factory equipped with the small paddle type mirrors, which were power. I purchased a new set of the tow mirrors with power also. I took my old ones off and began installing the new ones which fit fine, but my truck is factory equipped with the rectangular style connectors. The new tow mirrors have the round connector. Does anyone know if its possible to cut the round connectors off and install the rectangle ones? If so whats the wiring? Or can you purchase a retrofit connector that allows the round connector to be plugged into the rectangle one? All help is greatly appreciated...
It sounds like you bought the wrong year mirrors. Yes you could cut the connector off you old mirror but you would have to know the wiring for the mirror not the truck.
