The lighter in a Chevy Lumina can get lost easily if you routinely pull it from the socket to plug in electronic devices like GPS systems, cell phone chargers and laptops. If so, you need to replace it.

Fuse for cigarette lighter on chevy aveo 2008

The fuse you are looking for is in the instrument panel fuse box located inside the vehicle. It's a little different between the hatchback and the sedan but the panels are in the same location. Below i gave you a picture of the location for both of them. If you have the hatchback, the fuse you are looking for wil be marked "LTR" and if you have the sedan it will be the one marked cigar (see layout of fuses below for both below). This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, You can email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this helps and good luck.clifford224_393.gifclifford224_394.gifclifford224_395.gifclifford224_396.gif

My cigarette lighter does not work, could it be the fuse gone out?,,, where do i check fuses?

could be a fuse, the owners manual explains the fuse box layout. or just look for a fuse listed as CIGAR or such.

Where is fuse box for cigarette lighter

Under the gloves box on the passenger's side. Remove the cover and release the two bolts to access the fuse pannel. Refer to Owner's Manual section 8-49. The cigarette lighter is fuse #43 15A.

Cigarette lighter

This is probably a fuse problem. The fuse diagram should be on or in the fuse box.

Sometimes the cig lighter is labeled acc.
