Does the power window motor run when you go to close the window, but fails to raise the glass? If this is the case, there are bushings (plastic) in the motor that wear out, and the window won't close. I found the bushings on ebay, I've heard they are also available at parts stores in 'HELP' packaging, either way it's only a few $ for them, much cheaper than replacing the motor. If the motor quits, it's probably time to change it, as long as it didn't quit from a fuse blowing, but the bushings worked for me.

Window relay

Sounds more like a short circuit and/or wiring condition. Check for insulation cracks, bare wires, loose wires, or poor connections. Look for water damage or rusting. Fuses are not the problem.

I have a 1994 explorer and all of my power windows no longer will roll up or down and im not sure how to fix it any advice would be great.

Considering the age of the truck, the driver's door is the culprit. It gets wetter than the rest because it is used the most and gets wet when it rains, it corrodes, and the buttons are useless. If this happened all at once, it could be a fuse, but it sounds like the switches, you can buy the complete switch on ebay or you can spend a lot of time taking the thing apart and scrubbing the contacts and getting them to work again. I have done all my windows that way. I bought a truck with a window stuck down, and full of water, but I got the windows working. So check it out, the whole switch panel should pop right out of the door and you should be able to see how bad it is right away. Hope this helps.

Passenger side electric window will not roll up

Check your fuses first. Most commonly, the rain/water seal on the affected window is compromised which lets some rain run down and short out the window motor. Good luck.

Windo motors wont work

The driver side window switch is the master switch, the power or input to either roll the window up or down goes thru that switch. Double check all the connections on the back of the driver side window switch are good. With a DVOM you can also check to see if 12v are even getting to the master switch in the first place. If you aren't even getting power to the main power window switch you could've blown the power window fuse.

Fuse box diagram

it can't possibly be a fuse if your front windows are working.
i also have a 94 taurus and this same thing has occured, the L-R window won't move at all. but all of my other windows work. it is probably a bad window motor. I've heard a lot about 94's having this problem. take it to the dealer and see if they have any Technical Service Bulletins about this.
