Question about 1991 Ford F150
My truck is in great condition but everytime it rains my truck gets wet because the windows wont roll up its not the fuse i checked that but it seems like the motor is not pulling anything when i roll it down it will barely do that tell me what you think?
Does the power window motor run when you go to close the window, but fails to raise the glass? If this is the case, there are bushings (plastic) in the motor that wear out, and the window won't close. I found the bushings on ebay, I've heard they are also available at parts stores in 'HELP' packaging, either way it's only a few $ for them, much cheaper than replacing the motor. If the motor quits, it's probably time to change it, as long as it didn't quit from a fuse blowing, but the bushings worked for me.
