Question about 1995 Volvo 850
I was told by a tech that you were unable to clean oil affected air mass meter it would lose calibration, is this correct ????
Well I have got a way with cleaning some and they worked perfectly so it could be worth a try.
Use a can of spray brake cleaner and be very careful when you spray it onto the thin element inside the meter.
Don't wipe it out , just let it run out and dry by its self as this cleaner will evaporate quickly. Make sure there are naked flames or sparks and perform this clean in a well vented area.
