What is a intake manifold gasket

Lets review what you said - - you were probably adding coolant since freon goes into the air cond unit.
If there is oil in the coolant tank, something is leaking to allow engine oil into the cooling system such as the intake or head gasket. If it is trans fluid it could be the trans cooler inside the radiator.

How do you change the transmisson filter on a 1996 chevy cavalier

look underneath the car. you will see the oil pan and another pan on the drivers side. take all the bolts out of that pan. NOT THE OIL PAN. and drain the fluid. remove all the old gasket material. change the filter. it will be obvious. and reinstall. be careful not to over tighten the bolts on the pan you will split the gasket and it will leak like a siv.

Oil leak at rear main oil seal 2002 chrysler sebring. it's leaking oil

To stop the leak it will have to be replaced and a speedy sleave will have to be insalled on the crank surface this is not a little job and should be taken to a shop to fix. The transmisson has to be unhooked and backed away to work on it. For a shop to do it it's about 6 hours work Guessing cause don't know if it's 4 or v-6. Good luuck, If the seal fails all the way it can pour oil out fast enough to damage the engine if you let it go.

I just replaced the gasket of the transmission pan and still have a leak on my 1999 chevy suburban?

The leak is coming from the pan ??
Maybe the leak is traveling to the pan seal area from somewhere else ?
Did you scape off the stuck-on old gaskit on trani and pan ?
Its customary to use gaskit sealer on both sides of the new gaskit..
