Flickering driving lights on 1990 f350

After about an hour the driving lights go on and off i replaced the highbeam switch on the floor no impovement

You should have a relay for those lights, check in your handbook to see where it is. sounds like its faulty when hot and needs changing.

The problem is most likely your cars multi function switch. That is the switch that controls your blinkers, dimmer, and everything else. If you change the switch that should solve your problem.

you have a bad head light switch assembly or the relay for the low beams. try the low beam switch with the relay first then check the plug in on the back of the light switch to see if the contacts are burned out.

That is going to be a bad multi-function switch, which is the actual signal switch and highbeam switch. Is not too hard to replace if you have basic hand tools and some ambition.

No headlights


Check to make sure the power line going into the switch is hot. If you have power going into the switch and no lights then you need to replace the headlight switch a very simple thing to do.

Headlights


I have a 1997 Mazda 626 and my headlights go out for no reason. My highbeams seem fine so if I have to drive at night I have to drive around holding my highbeams on. Nobody can figure out the problem. I really need help on this. I need to drive my car at night and can't.

Daytime safty lights


Sounds like the bulbs need replacement. The high beams are separate from the low beam/daytime running lights.
