Open the trunk remove the trim panel to clear the upper shock mount nut.loosen wheel nuts raise rear of vehicle support on jack stands.support trailing arm.with a jack .remove the shock absorber mounting nut and bolt.then remove the upper two bolts at wheel well above the coil spring.do one wheel at a time becauses it will damage brake lines if you remove both shocks. besure to block the front wheels to keep car from moving.

What motor? Fuse is located in a different place on the 4cyl. vs. the V6. The four cylinder fuse is in the fuse box under the dash. The V6 engine the fuse is in a in line fuse holder next to the fuel pump relay under the hood, diverside rear at the firewall, there may be a plastic cover on the relay and fuse.

How to change thermostat on 1991 pontiac sunbird le 2.0 liter without draining rad.to test old themostat, imerse in hotwater ??

You can put the thermostat in a pot of water on the stove
& put a thermometer in there to test,to learn something,
that's a good idea

Your still going to install a new one every 6 to 8 years

You don't have to drain much to remove it from the car

My 1991 pontiac sunbird is leaking antifreeze. It

Age of vehicle determines that you get a replacement hose and clips first. Drain down the Coolant into a container, replace the hose, and refill, remembering you are going to loose coolant by spillage on the drain down.

Is the column round or square? I think 1993 is round. Sounds like the ignition lock cylinder needs replaced.
