Changing an AC compressor is not something that you can do in your drive way. removing the mounts for the compressor is easy but you CAN NOT discharge the refrigerant into the atmosphere. you have to take your car to a shop where they can properly recover all of the refrigerant from the system and charge it again when the new compressor is installed.

I need size of serpentine belt to bypass the accompressor

Most if not all compressors have an electric clutch. They do not rotate unless there is power to the clutch. I would disconnect the compressor instead.

How to remove the belts from crankshaft damper on nissan maxima 1996

If you have the older style V-Belts you have to lossen
a couple of the accy's--alternator,power steering pump,
air pump,etc

For a single serpentine belt- you just pull the tension of the
spring loaded belt tensioner

You may have to remove a plastic or rubber splash shield
as well as a tire & work thru the wheel well & over the sub frame

Im trying to put my timing belt back on but i dont know wer the tensioner is to lossen it

Do you mean timing belt or serpentine drive belt (the one that runs the accesories on the front of the motor)? In either case, please re-comment on this stating which belt you mean and what make / model / year / engine size your vehicle is. Thanks, Mike

97 Taurus Belt tensioner does not lossen the belt

There should be a square big enough to fit a 3/8" drive ratchet into on the tensioner (should be closest to the pulley), insert the ratchet into that square, then try turning the tensioner, this should release the pressure on the serpentine belt. Hope this helps.

How do I lossen the serpentine belt in my 06 ford tarsus

Serpentine systems have a spring loaded tensioner to keep the belt on. A well designed tensioner will have a square cutout on it to accept a ratchet. Poorly designed ones you have to use a pry bar.

Where is the tension pulley on a 1997 saab 900s

You mean the serpentine belt . Do you ? If thats what you mean, the tensioner is a component that has a bolt at the middle which when lossened with a wrench will lossen the tension on the serpentine belt it has a spring and can be moved . if it was a seperate belt it woud have a bolt and a brace with a U shaped hole in the middle. You would lossen the bolt and pull on the belt and it lossens up.
