Question about 1998 Kia Sephia
When I try to start my Kia Sephia the starter tries to turn over the engine and the there is a clunk sound as though something, maybe a piece of metal, is in the area where the starter engages with the engine.
Recently I had startup problems but later found out that the problem was a faulty alternator. During this period repeated attemps at starting the car was done. could a gear or bearing have been damaged during this period. What is the most likely problem, and how difficult is it to correct it?
Is your battery fully charged?could be your stateror flywheel has broken teeth on it
