On car panel it indicated stop engine overheat

run the fault codes
indicates possible crank/ cam shaft position sensor/s faulty

Low pressure when at idle, after the engine has warmed up and the oil has thinned, indicates that the oil pump is worn and needs to be replaced.

there will be codes but the scanner in use doesn't have the correct protocol to read them
indicates a problem coolant temp sensor that is reading an overheat situation and shutting sown the engine
or possible crank/cam position that is failing from excessive heat from he engine

A bad tensioner can cause an engine to overheat in the sense that when a bad tensioner breaks, it will cause a loss of turning movement to all the accessories of the engine including the water pump, and when the water pump stops turning, the flow of coolant will stop and the engine will start to overheat.

have a compression test done on the engine as it indicates a failing head gasket or cracked head
without the cap the compression gas is allowed to escape but with the cap on the compression gas has no where to go and so is blowing of the valve in the cap indicating an over heat noise

sounds like the water pump isn't working ,so as coolant isn't being pumped around engine it boils away and the engine overheats, get this sorted out asap as this will very soon ruin your engine , cutting out when stopping is related

one word , the transmission slips. (never drive a slipping tranny)
overheat indicator.! that is key.
many newer cars will change the transmission shifting any time
the engine over heats.
and overheat wins over transmission , every time.
if the engine burns up, what good is any transmission.? nada.

solve overheat first.

is when the engine RPM rises fast and the car dont go faster.
SLIPS.
and slipping burns up trannyclutchs and increases the damage. inside the transmission, dont do that. dont allow it,
park it and fix it.

on some tranny there is a temperature sensor that the TCM
watches and changes shift patterns based on AFT fluid temps.
and if the ATF fluid gets too hot , it takes actions. to keep the tranny from harm.

why not get a scan too and see what DTC errors there are..

find the reason that the fan is not working
could be a coolant sensor problem, or relay problem

The white smoke is probably steam caused by coolant getting into the cylinder(s) either from a faulty head gasket, cracked cylinder head or cracked engine block. The loss of heat from the heater indicated that coolant was being lost..

In the fuse/relay box under the hood in front of the battery are 3 fan relays. 1 for low speed, and 2 for high speed. 1 of high speed is back up. check the relays first.
B3 CHECK FUSES

• Key OFF.
• Check the 10A RELAYS fuse located in the interior fuse junction panel and the 65A RAD FAN fuse located in the main fuse junction panel. (engine compartment)
