It depends on what engine is in it.

The transfer case could be the NP231 or NP242

The transfer case in the 95's use Dexron Automatic transmission fluid. The fill capacity is 1.2 liters.

should be some numbers on the case itself a good auto salvage yard could tell you what you got

Are you referring to the switch in the vehicle or on your transfer case/transmission housing?

Hey there..my name is Keith..and in your transmission..there is a parking cog..and its not in your transfer case..and either its wore out..or you vehicle needs some shift linkage adjustment..or the linkage has gotten bent from 4 wheeling..and i hope this helps..if not..please write back

Depends if its the same model transfer case such as a nv231 or nv249 even a nv241 ....

NO IT WILL NOT INTERCHANGE U HAVE TO GET THE SPECIFIC TRANSFER CASE OR IT WONT BOLT UP

There are essentially three different transfer cases used in 95. Generally slipping out of gear is caused by partial engagement, requiring linkage adjustment, or by internal wear of case componets. I would have either checked by a reliable competent trans shop. An at-home rebuild is not impossible but parts are not cheap and a small mistake can ruin an otherwise good job.

Hello chevy87, sorry no clue but I could find out for you. I had part time and all time 4x4, and I much prefer the all time. I don't know why you changed it. 1995 is the best year for Jeep. I am a auto shipper and I have tested 1995 and up. None have changed my mind to venture for a newer Jeep, yet. I was happy with my 1984 wrangler to.
