1990 chevy truck with 454 v8 idles too high

I have a 90 454SS chevy truck. The truck idles about 750-850 rpm`s in drive. I changed the Idle Air Control and it didn`t seem to help. When you crank it after it is good and warm, it starts idling about 400 rpm`s but after about 45 sec. it goes back up to about 800 rpm`s. What do I need to do next?

One thing is to leave the IAC adjustment alone, you have a vachum leake betweent the mais air flow sensor or a intake leak.
