Problem for Hyundai Motor 2003 Sonata

Sonata 2003 aerial removal.

The aerial snapped and I want to remove what's left of it in order to replace with a new one. I have removed holding nut on top side of the car but how do I get our the **** of the aerial. There seems to be a plastic or rubber cover on the underside of the wing where the aerial enters the car.
