We think the fuses in my 1999 Dodge Caravan are dying.

We got back from our honeymoon and are almost into Wichita when I look down and notice that the "P", "R", and "N" lights are out, and the first half of the mileage number lights are out. We pulled over so my husband and I could switch spots, and that's when we noticed that the gear indicator is stuck on "D". We can still change gears, but it doesn't tell us which gear its in. Also, all of the gadges are stuck in the position they were in right before I pulled over. So now we don't know how much gas we have, we don't know how fast we're going, so on and so forth. This morning my husband disconnected the battery because when we turned the car off last night, the mileage numbers and gear indicators stayed on, and were still on this morning. The gadges went down, but now the speedometer reads "120 mph", and there are no lights at all for the mileage or gear indicator.
