It sounds like you may have a failing Mass Air Flow sensor, seems like Ive been seeing these tied together quite often. Its a little tricky but a good repair shop should be able to test this sensor. I dont want to tell you to replace it without having it tested cause they are a bit pricey but check around, you never know. Hope this give youu another idea where to look.

When I went outside to start my Jaguar X-Type it was cold outside. I was in a hurry and didn't let the car warm up properly. It jumped a bit then the check engine light came on along with a message that said No cruise control. The no cruise light came off but my check engine light is still on. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

that appears to be a camshaft position sensor performance code. you can start by checking to see if the sensor is working properly, re-check and make sure that the harness is ok by checking the resistance through the harness if all looks well there make sure the computer has the latest software on it by having it scanned at your local dealer. also you can check the reluctor wheel on the camshaft for damage or debris in the way of the sensor.
hope this helps!

You can disconnect your battery for a short period of time, 5-10 minutes should do it. There is no guarantee that the check engine light will not come back on in time, but it will make it go away at least temporarily. If you go to Autozone, 99% of the time they will hook up a code reader and diagnose your problem. It may be a minor and/or inexpensive fix. Please vote appropriately and leave feedback. I hope this helps and good luck.
