U got a locked up torque convertor u can unplug the wiring that goes to the transmission for the torque convertor i cant remember with out looking at ur car if u have a sep plug for the computer control functions of the transmission but if u unplug the wiring for just the torque convertor u can drive the car forever like this my car did the same thing and i drove 150,000 miles after doing this or u pay a grand to have torque convertor replaced hope this helps ya

I would assume you never retrieved the codes & googled them-- to find out the system with the possible fault We have had Check Lights for over 30 years, nothing new there,just remember you have an OBD1 System (1981 thru 1995) OBD2 (1996 thru 2014) Put the codes you get into Google along with your vehicle for the problems & solutions
I would start with the MAP sensor. You can also pull codes out of it. there should be a 10 or 12 pin plug under your dash in the canter of the car. here is a link that may help. - North Central Regional Library Good luck
three core plug hahahah it has 3 coils crank sensor is located at the crank pulley it sits inside and creates a magnetic field and produces a low ac voltage 5 ac volts or less module then converts it to a squar wave to fire injectors and coils
