Pull the plastic off around the steering wheel. there will be bolts to take it off after that. relatively easy job. just might need 90 degree ratchet connector.

I have the same 1998 Isuzu hombre. I removed the dip stick from the transmision and added fuid it the same tube with a funnel. It worked for me.
