The throttle positioning control or unit is most likely your fix and most likely you will need a cam positioning unit also.

Interesting. Do you have to use the button to get into park too ?
The button is designed to help you get out of park.

If there is a vacuum leak from the intake gasket. It is possible it will kill those cylinders. Take some wd40 and spray around the intake gasket on that side. If the engine runs better it's problem the intake gasket at fault. Try getting to the bolts and tighten all bolts see if that helps. If not spray around larger vacuum hoses and check for a leak and repair as nessary..

Be sure you check engine oil level often. The low oil sensor will disable the ignition. If you turn A/C on the cooling fan should run continuous, Check the fan relays. Make sure coolant level is correct at recovery bottle, never open radiator cap. A scald hazard exist, be careful. This car is old and complicated, and is beyond your skill level to repair. Try to inquire here for advice, whenever possible. Don't throw good money at bad money

Your tranny rods are wrong. I normally leave things loose put the shifter in park, put the tranny in park and then adjust all parts and snug down. The next time you find that problem block the front wheels and jack the rear up to take the pressure off the right tire and it should come right out of park, this is the best reason to set the "E" brake.

good chance with that problem you were close most likely a misfire will cause that. it would be either your spark plugs or coil pack. also make sure your vacuum lines are good and air filter is good. also bad gas can cause that problem. the worst outcome would be your throttle body going out on you.

When belts squeak it's either from dryness wear or tension / tightness / looseness affecting alignment.

Check for tightness and you can spray with belt dressing and try some WD40 on the compressor pulley.

If none of that doesn't stop it it very well could be the clutch or pulley is stiff from non use and could need replacing soon.

You should not be afraid to take it back to your mechanic, and tell him that he has not cured the problem.

Possibly it is one of the steering rack pipes that just needs tightening, or it is a high pressure hose faulty, or the pump, or at the worst, maybe the new steering rack is faulty, and he can then sort out a replacement under warranty.

Put some cardboard on the floor, and try to get a pin point, as to the exact source of the drip, this is the true crux of the matter.
