Hi
Turn key on a listen for fuel pump running in tank. The fuel pump should run for 3 to 4 seconds and kick out. If not running try tapping bottom of tank with a soft hammer and fuel pump might start working but if this is the problem it will have to be replaced.

I guess my first question is how do you know the injector has fuel ? You would need to know if the injector is getting voltage and pulse from the computer, and if the fuel pressure is enough to allow the injector to spray.
It could be a relay that keeps the fuel pump running when the ignition switch is in the run position. My jeep had this problem, where the pump gets power in the start position but once the key returns to run, the engine shortly stops running because the pressure in the fuel line drops off as it is used by the running engine, it usually died within 3 seconds. my relay was under hood and there were several of the same type in there, I switched the fuel system one with the one for my AC(which only blows hot anyway) Hope this helps...
usually when the camaro runs rough that could be bad fuel injectors-o2sensor and fuel filter-thats my guess i had the same problem and i put bad gas in and the fuel filter went bad
Check to see if there's power at the fuel pump when cranking the engine. If no power, check the relay and oil pressure sender switch. If the engine looses oil pressure, it stops the fuel pump from running to protect the engine. The relay is located on the firewall above the master cylinder.
First off, your Z28 does not have a carburetor. They haven't put carburetors on Camaros since 1984. Your Camaro is fuel injected and has a throttle body. You are having a fuel issue. You fuel pump is probably bad and or fuel filter is clogged. I am assuming you are not a mechanic so I would recommend taking this to your local repair shop to be fixed. They will have to drop the tank to get to the pump. You should also have your injuectors cleaned while you are at it.
too many possibilities without more info..check that carb linkage ok and choke is not stuck...check timing (does it have a labored pattern to cranking rhythm)...one plug/wire or other section of secondary ignition (cap/rotor) could be bad or weak
