The order should be stamped on your intake manifold right under the air cleaner.
My '97 1500, 5.2, 318 firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

pop the hood and look behind head light and you will see the nuts holding the lens in pull those and the lense should just slide right out

I dont know the exact method on this car but on most cars if you open the boot/ trunk it has little compartments near the lights on the inside of the car, if you pop those open you gan get to the bulbs and probly un screw the light unit it self. sorry if its no help.

SOURCE: 98 dodge ram 360 firing order. #1 cylinder location

Number 1 is on the drivers side on the front. The cylinders are arranged 1-3-5-7 down the drivers side and 2-4-6-8 down the passengers side. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

Firing order for dodge nitro 08


Should be the same as a Dakota.
The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2
The odd cylinders are on the driver side with number 2 being the front cylinder on the passenger side.

Problem code P1702 for 08 dodge caliber car dies in drive only... Any solutions or info that it is the primary oil pressure sensor? thanks


P1702; TRS (transmission range sensor) circuit malfunction.
Basically the sensor that detects which gear is selected is possibly not working, or the circuit that supplies power to it isn't working, or a possible faulty PCM.

I have an 08 Dodge Caliber 1.8L with a 5 speed manual transmission. The "Electronic Idle Control" light came on yesterday. I brought it to the dealership this morning where I was told "the...


The engine behavior and the run-on indicate that there is raw fuel in the intake system. That (type of) control module is supposed to be aware of ambient temperature and adjust fuel-air mixture to prevent the engine from dying when started cold in a cold environment. You'res is malfunctioning and probably supplying far too much fuel for the engine's and outside conditions, 'flooding' it and possibly getting the sparkplugs so wet they cease firing.
You might do some poking around to see if Chrysler has a recall in place on this part. That could be a safety concern.

Need to know the firing order


For all Dodge V8 truck engines, the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. For all Dodge V6 truck engines, the firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2. For Dodge inline 6 cylinder engines, the firing order is For all Dodge 4 cylinder engines, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 All dodge distributors rotate clockwise.


look at your distributor cap while standing on the driver's side of the vehicle.
Start at number 1, which is labelled on the cap, and go
clockwise

Good lord don't do it.

I have one and has this nagging scraping noise. No one can diagnose it and a quick search online shows lots of people have it. Common conclusion is something in the transmission, yet Dodge won't acknowledge the problem.

I have had nothing but problems since getting mine.
