If you mean for leaks, you would need a device that sniffs for freon leaks.

I have a 2001 Expedition that recently had a tune up and coil replacement. After driving about 300 miles the upper hose of the radiator blew a **** in it. I replaced the hose myself, but now the car

Sounds to me like your heater core is clogged. and it may have nothing to do with the tune up. Also if it has a miss now it is because you got water/coolant on your coil right below the hose where it goes into the fire wall. Get a new coil as well.

Air conditioning clog kia soul

Ac hoses do not clog as they are full of refrigerant gas that is filtered by the receiver drier.. So if you mean the drain hose at the bottom of the ac chamber in the car then remove the hose and blow it out. remove all the gunk from inside the ac chamber and check that the fins of the evaporator are not full of gunk as well. If they are get a house hold ac fin cleaner and clean the evaporator out.

Where are the ac hoses on a 99 chevy blazer?

Hi Kelea, I'm glad to help!

Kelea, the A/C hoses and lines can be traced back from the A/C Compressor, to the Evaporator at the firewall and also to the Condenser in front of the Radiator. If you can't find the leak and your in the St Louis Mo area give me a call Al 314-374-5218 and I'll be glad to take a look at it and help you out. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Kelea.

My 2002 Ford Taurus passenger floor (front) is soaking wet. I have read that it could be a plugged hose. I am a female and have no experience...where do I find the hose to work on this? Can't affo

Sounds like the AC condenser drain is plugged. Do you notice a puddle under the right front while idling with the AC running? If not, the drain is plugged should be an easy and cheap fix at any local garage.

What & where is the "air conditioning manifold hose"?

it's two little hoses in on the left part of the engine running towards the front. You probably need to replace them and put refrigerant back in. not soemthing you can do by yourself.

How do i re gass my air con system myself, i have the hose and access to R22 and r134a i just need to know how much to put in and what side of the compressor

Do you live in Canada? If so, you can pick up AC do it yourself recharge kits at Canadian Tire. If you don't they may also be available where you live. Check your local auto supply store fof availability.

How do you check the high pressure on the air conditioner for a 1997 volvo 850

Do you have ac gauges? You can only check with set of 134a gauges.Hook the red hose of the ac gauges to the large ac port on the high side ac line(it is the small ac line/hose).Do not turn the red knob on (on the ac gauges)If need to hook up low side(blue hose)to the small ac port on the low side line(it is the large ac port). If I can help, let me know.

A/c blows hot

Your car is low on refrigerant.
  1. Your system requires R-134A refrigerant which is available at most auto parts stores.
  2. You will also need a hose to connect the refrigerant to the AC system.
  3. You will need to locate the low side AC fitting (looks like a nipple)
  4. With the car running and the AC turned on high, attach the hose to the AC fitting,
  5. attach a can of refrigerant to the other end of the hose.
  6. Turn the screw on the hose to puncture the top of the refrigerant.
  7. Move the can back and forth until the refrigerant is empty.
  8. Detach the hose from the AC system.
Check to see if frost forms on the AC lines under the hood and cool air blowing from the vents inside. If the air isn't cold enough, add another can of refrigerant.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the system. If the system doesn't "**** in" the refrigerant, the compressor needs resetting (disconnect battery 5 min in GM cars and trucks)
I hope this solves your AC issue. All the best!
