The rear bumper on my 2008 Altima is popped out of alignment by the gas tank how do I get back in.

A car that new..take it back to the dealer and have them repair it. usually if panels are popping loose that are screwed in, its because one bolt was tightened before the others were all lined up. Again though..new car..take it back to them for repair

Not particularly difficult but rather time consuming. You will first need to take the bumper cover off. This will reveal a styrofaom bumper over the metal one. Remove the styrofoam then you will see the bolts that attach the bumper itself. To re-install, reverse the proceedure.
