My 2000 Honda Odyssey (240k) made a loud clank noise when I went slowly over a speed bump. Now, when I turn the wheel-- either driving slowly or in park-- I hear and feel two or three rubbing or snapping...

The Hondas do have at the back suspension arms which are holding the wheels,Big suspension bushing, which when they snap off or cracked, are causing clank noises because are not holding enough the rear axle. on the other hand the vehicle loose the tracking as a result to cause wear and tear of the rear tires as well. Ask from your local mechanic to examine your car.

Runningboards for ml 250 bluetec 2013 model

You cannot fit these with the correct paperwork ,you need the certificate of compliance for the running boards ,then another certificate from the garage fitting them .Then you have to present the vehicle to the local vehicle test centre to have the paperwork changed to show that the vehicle is fitted with running boards and another complete examination of the vehicle .Failure to comply with will result in the police stopping the vehicle and having it impounded then you will have to pay a fortune to get the vehicle back

Loud clunk noise from passenger front tire area when hitting bumps

sounds are very hard to diagnose on here, but a crashing sound is almost always a ball joint and you do not want to let this break as it can be very damaging if it totally fails, resulting in injury and even death. no matter what, it needs to be put on a lift and examined by a good shop-don't let this go, and by all means avoid to the best of your abillity holes and ruts in the road until you get this looked at.

Engine turns over and runs great in good weather as soon as it rains it turns over but will not start.

hello barryi... you most likely have one or more bad spark plug wires or a tiny crack in the distributor cap resulting in this moisture problem. Carefully examine each of the spark plug wires for a hairline crack or replace the entire set. if that doesn't solve it replace the distributor cap. joe

Every now and then the car will have trouble starting, after a few attempts it will but I am wondering how to fix this so it starts every time without trouble

Have it properly diagnosed... then you'll know what 'EXACTLY' is CAUSING the problem. You want us to GUESS?.. there are virtually dozens of possible CAUSES. Can/Will you provide us with the results of your attempts at diagnosis? First place to start is to examine/inspect the fuel pressure and the connector to the fuel pump. Will/Can you give us that information?... otherwise, all this is GUESS WORK.

So my door won't latch the latch itself wont lock the door in place and the alarm goes off everytime i start the car or shut the door so i took out the fuse for the alarm so i could drive it so im...

No point wondering - only examining the door internals will reveal why the latch doesn't work. Mostly it is the result of poor maintenance, the result of a maladjusted striker/hinges or a very dusty environment, though sometimes a spring will break...

Instrument lights dim then come back full strenght. Same with radio lights....climate control lights have been out. Seems to happen intermitently...

This sounds as though you have a problem with the wiring harness somewhere in the lighting circuit. It is probably where the cable has been rubbing against a part of the chassis and as a result the insulation has broken down. This gives a path for the voltage to leak to earth , very slightly and the voltage delivered to the lights etc is reduced, so they dim. I suggest you visually examine the cables and if you find a rubbed area then wrap with insulating tape.

remove the oil pan. remove the oil pick - up tube-to -main bearing cap nut. remove the oil pump pick-up tube mounting bolts. remove the oil pump mounting bolts and lower th eoil pump assembly. If the pump is faulty, or you suspect that it's faulty, install a new one- do not attempt to repair the orginal. The oil pump hex driveshaft will come out with the pump . Examine the ends for wear,"Caution": If this shaft breaks, serious engine damage can result. If it looks worn, replace it.
