You should use the viscosity oil recommended in your owner's manual. Using a heavier weight oil can affect your fuel economy. If you overfilled the engine with oil, drain out a quart. Overfilling with oil will cause the oil to 'foam', and if this happens, you are not getting proper lubrication of components, which can result in damage to your engine.

Here is a link to the file download for your owners manual. Go the the maintennance section and get the oil specs for the type of climate that you reside in.

ouch. since it's a Prairie and not a Murano i'm not sure but the Murano in US has a warranty to 120k miles on the CVT. Check your dealer if they offer that where you are
